Online Roadshow

We are now running online roadshows via Zoom videoconference.

These sessions are bite-size online presentations aimed at those who want a quick update or intro to this are that they can fit into a busy work schedule.

Our next media law intro/refresher online session will be on Thursday, January 26, at 1pm.

The one-hour seminar is open to all and is suitable for those working in newspapers & magazines, online publishing, broadcast media, PR and comms, government and the third sector.

It will cover the latest developments in:

  • libel, slander and malicious falsehood
  • privacy, data protection and GDPR
  • contempt of court and other restrictions in reporting crime and the courts
  • copyright
  • law and social media

The seminar will take the form of a short presentation, practical discussion and Q&A.

Dates

The fee is £50 per person. If there is demand these sessions can run outside normal office hours in the early evening. Please let us know if this would be your preference.
