Media Law Refresher/Intro, March 26, London
I am running a media law intro/refresher session in London on March 26.
The seminar is open to all and is suitable for those working in newspapers and online publishing, PR and comms, government and the third sector.
It will be a broad-based session covering the latest developments in
- libel, slander and malicious falsehood
- privacy, data protection and GDPR
- contempt of court and other restrictions in reporting crime and the courts
- law and social media
- media ethics
The seminar will take the form of presentations, practical discussions and Q&A.
The seminar is on March 26, from 1.30pm to 5pm. The fee is £95 per person, with discounts available for bookings of three or more people.
Similar seminars are also planned for May 2, May 21, June 26 and July 17.
