Media Law Seminar, Anglia Ruskin University, October 17
This Autumn I am running a media law seminar in conjunction with Anglia Ruskin University, at its campus in Cambridge.
The seminar is open to all and is suitable for those working in newspapers and online publishing, PR and comms, government and the third sector.
It will be a broad-based session covering the latest developments in
• libel, slander and malicious falsehood
• privacy, data protection and GDPR
• contempt of court and other restrictions in reporting crime and the courts
• law and social media
• media ethics
The seminar will take the form of presentations, practical discussions and Q&A.
The seminar is on October 17, from 1.30pm to 5pm. The fee is £100 per person, with discounts available for bookings of four or more people.
