Online Media Law Training

All the the courses listed on the training page are deliverable as online courses via video-conference.

David has been delivering distance learning packages for 15 years and this option is very popular for those who cannot attend training sessions; or for companies whose staff are split across a variety of locations.

The training is delivered via Zoom video conference software – a versatile and robust platform which allows video interaction if your laptop has a webcam, audio conversation and an online chat function. A small free download may be required to run Zoom on your PC or laptop.

You will be able to see and hear David delivering the presentation, as well as the slides of his presentation.

The sessions are also recorded and stored on DropBox, so anyone attending can revisit them to remind themselves of the content.

The online sessions can be run as half-day webinars or the delivery system also allows clients to put together bespoke courses picking from the following subjects, delivered either as full-day, half-day, or a series of one-hour sessions.

Subjects available include:

Libel

Privacy

Social media and the law

Copyright

Contempt of Court

Data Protection

Reporting the courts and reporting restrictions

Malicious Falsehood

Media ethics
