Alongside our in-house training we also run a series of regular training days covering a variety of media law topics for a range of audiences.
Dates and subjects will be listed here, along with details of the training, venues and timing etc. Alternatively, if you have a number of staff to train, you may want to discuss a bespoke, in-house course tailored to your organisation’s specific needs.
Our next media law intro/refresher session will be in London on May 2.
The seminar is open to all and is suitable for those working in newspapers and online publishing, PR and comms, government and the third sector.
It will be a broad-based session covering the latest developments in:
- libel, slander and malicious falsehood
- privacy, data protection and GDPR
- contempt of court and other restrictions in reporting crime and the courts
- law and social media
- media ethics
The seminar will take the form of presentations, practical discussions and Q&A.
The seminar is on May 2, from 1.30pm to 5pm. The fee is £95 per person, with discounts available for bookings of three or more people.
Similar seminars are also planned for May 23, June 26 and July 17.
